ZRJ Designs came to be in 2006 when I decided that my woodturnings were good enough to start selling to the public. Since that time I have steadily gotten deeper into the art show business and now I am a full time woodturning artist.
All of my pieces are unique. I strive to use minor imperfections in the wood. These imperfections would include bark inclusions, worm holes, or simply the difference in appearance from the heartwood to the sapwood.
Most of the beauty of wood is hidden by it’s rough exterior. It is my pleasure to bring out this hidden beauty and showcase what nature has provided.
I am a juried member of the Missouri Artisans Association, better known as The Best of Missouri Hands.
I have pieces in art galleries in the Midwest, as well as the private collections of art enthusiasts in the U.S. and abroad.
