Turning started out as a hobby, but as my skills and abilities have increased, it has become more of a career. From time to time, I turn domestic woods, but the exotics are where I find the vivid colors and textures I prefer to use. All pieces are unique, and I strive to enhance pieces by utilizing bark inclusions and minor imperfections in the original blank. I have pieces in art galleries in the Midwest as well as the private collections of individual art enthusiasts.
